No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.
Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.
Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.
If you do not understand this, imagine yourself confronted with a charge for a crime which you know you did not commit. You feel confident that no one can prove guilt because you know that there exists no evidence whatsoever for the charge against you. Now imagine that you stand present in a court of law that allows hearsay as evidence. When the prosecution presents its case, everyone who takes the stand against you claims that you committed the crime, not as a witness themselves, but solely because other people said so. None of these other people, mind you, ever show up in court, nor can anyone find them.
Hearsay does not work as evidence because we have no way of knowing whether the person lies, or simply bases his or her information on wrongful belief or bias. We know from history about witchcraft trials and kangaroo courts that hearsay provides neither reliable nor fair statements of evidence. We know that mythology can arise out of no good information whatsoever. We live in a world where many people believe in demons, UFOs, ghosts, or monsters, and an innumerable number of fantasies believed as fact taken from nothing but belief and hearsay. It derives from these reasons why hearsay cannot serves as good evidence, and the same reasoning must go against the claims of a historical Jesus or any other historical person.
Authors of ancient history today, of course, can only write from indirect observation in a time far removed from their aim. But a valid historian's own writing gets cited with sources that trace to the subject themselves, or to eyewitnesses and artifacts. For example a historian today who writes about the life of George Washington, of course, can not serve as an eyewitness, but he can provide citations to documents which give personal or eyewitness accounts. None of the historians about Jesus give reliable sources to eyewitnesses, therefore all we have remains as hearsay.

No it is not possible for God to die! He is eternal. Jesus said, I am He that liveth and was dead, and behold I am alive for evermore.
Let me explain!
God sent His Son Jesus into the world as human flesh. He was crucified on a cross for your sin and mine. He died, but 3 days later He rose from the dead. This is why we celebrate Easter.
Jesus God's Son died, but Jesus is also part of the Godhead.
You and I are made up of body, soul and spirit. Well God is also triune. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Its like water for example which has 3 distinct forms: solid ice, liquid water and invisible water vapour, but it is always H2O.

God is the Father. His Son was conceived through the natural law birth of men. This means that Jesus was human on earth, prepared to show man how to LIVE THE LAW (fulfill ) After he died, and rose again, he advised his disciples that another would come and replace him (in the spirit) to lead and guide whoever would listen. It is not possible for God to die - he has always been. If you are a believer, and have accepted Jesus Christ, you will not die either - yes, your 'body' will cease to exist. This is the last enemy which must be destroyed - but the spirit which was revived in you still lives. These kinds of questions are good to ask, but I firmly believe that this is a gospel of truth that cannot be picked apart and every detail shown for proof. It is a heart thing in which we believe - and that is why it is so difficult for us as humans to accept. It's far beyond our comprehension. You just have to trust and believe in your heart.

It is impossible for God to die.Jesus was Gods Only Begotten Son a
a human being just like me and you except Jesus Father was God
and Gods Blood flowed in his veins .Jesus did NOT inherit Adams
sin nature but was (the last Adam) sinless just like Adam was BEFORE
he ate the fruit in the Garden of Eden sinless.
Jesus was Gods Son and indwell ed by God yet he was able to suffer death yet still be as God.Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.
That is why Jesus came Luk 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
The ONLY WAY SIN COULD BE FORGIVEN WAS THAT A SINLESS
BLOOD SACRIFICE BE GIVEN.Without the shedding of Blood there is
NO REMISSION OF SIN.
Jesus was Gods perfect solution to mans sin debt.Because he was Gods Only Begotten SON when he died on Calvary his BLOOD
SETTLED mans sin debt once and for eternity. Hallelujah what a SAVIOR!!
I Know that my sins are forgiven because JESUS was Bodily Resurrected From the Grave. That proves beyond a doubt that
Jesus was exactly who he said he was.The Bible says that the wages of sin is DEATH !We all die because we all are sinners. Death could NOT hold Jesus my Lord because Jesus was Gods only begotten son.
This IS Gods Only Plan of Salvation Believe it or Reject it God
is calling.
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

God is Spirit...not a Spirit but Spirit. Jesus came in the flesh which can die...but not the Spirit. The Spirit will live forever in the Kingdom or forever tormented in Hell. Jesus came so save us from hell...not from dying. The real man (heart) inner man, soul will not cease to exist. We will be in heaven or hell...no middle ground. The spirit will never die.... Gods or mans.

Physically, yes. That's what Jesus did. But death, in a spiritual sense, is being away from the presence of God, which is only found in Hell. So, when Jesus "defeated death", He actually went into Hell and came back. But, since He IS God, I guess He was never really away from His own presence, either.

Yes. Jesus Christ was the fleshly manifestation of God sent to DIE for our sins. Could God as a whole die? No, for He is omnipresent and His Word is eternal.

I don't believe that Jesus is God. While Jesus was on earth he prayed - why would he pray to himself? When Jesus died, he did so as a perfect human being to pay for our sins. God did not die.

that exerpt is just another flaw with christian belief, either jesus is god, in which case how can god die, or jesus was a man born of god (although that is a whole different ball of wax). if god is all powerful and the creator of existance no god cannot die, which means jesus can not BE god..so to worship jesus instead of god..would be to go against god...
