is it ok for me to still have feelings for a past boyfriend when i have a new bf. my old bf u could say he was perfect for me we were into the same things but then he moved away and i told him i couldent deal with the long distances thing and he understanded

If he was so perfect for you then hop on a plane and go be with him - that puts it into perspective doesn't it. Your first reaction to that statement should be the correct one - no second guessing it - did you think 'YES I could do that', then do it. Or did you think 'but what about my new boyfriend, school, job, etc.' If that was it then make the best of what you have here and now. Don't let your new boyfriend feel second best - not fair to him or to you. You will always have feelings for those you at one point loved. They should be good feelings of memories not of longing - if they are of longing then you shouldn't be in a relationship with anyone until you work it out for you - otherwise your setting the other person up for heartache.

its perfectly NORMAL if thats your question. if youre only thinking about your ex though, then maybe you shouldnt be with your new boyfriend. when you get into a relationship, your telling the person that you want to be with them-and only them. It sounds like your not ready for a new relationship just yet.

yeah its definatley ok to have feelings for him...he sounds a real understanding guy and maybe you lost a treasure right there. Maybe a good idea to go and claim that treasure back.
