In the Passover sacrement, we're commanded to "eat and drink ye all of it" leaving nothing to waste. The Old Testament ritual was performed in that manner because it was on the eve of the Israelites' exodus from Egypt and had to be completed in a hurry because the food would've spoiled had they attempted to carry any of it with them. Spoilage is a symbolism of sin, therefore they were commanded to let the rest be "consumed by fire." Fire is a symbol of purification, and since Passover was a holy sacrement, there could be nothing impure connected to it. The modern NT Passover is held in the same fashion. What is left over is to be destroyed or consumed equally among everyone present. You don't want any ONE person drunk off the commuinion wine, so all you had to do was make sure eveeryone else had been served once before checking on seconds. If these conditions have been met, help yourself to seconds!

If a cannibal wants seconds I don't see the problem. Although how do you know the part you're getting isn't the anus? You'd definately need extra blood to get that down.

I think you're supposed to wait to be offered seconds. A good host will offer.
