Yes. Try doing the course before the actual race. It is a huge advantage if you know where you are in the course and how much further you need to run etc. very helpful.

yes provide two paths for the rider side by side if you can one hard the other one easy for little kids if they want to ride with mommy or daddy I went on a few and my 10year old daughter wanted to go on one so I took her out to see what she could do and it was to much for her so she stayed home alone and I went on the ride but I felt guilty as hell. I told the organnizer if there is not another path for kids to ride with there parents count me out my kid comes first before any bike rideoh wrong answer I was thinking you was asking about a mountain bike trail ride if you hold that I added some good ideas for that plus other bike shops can give you pointers too but biathlon your on your own but I do wish you luck
