Your score is slightly above average
The average IQ is by definition 100; scores above 100 indicate a higher than average IQ and scores below 100 indicate a lower that average IQ.
Half of the population have IQ’s of between 90 and 110, while 25% have higher IQ’s and 25% have lower IQ’s:
IQ, Description, % of Population:
130+, Very Superior, 2.2%
120-129, Superior, 6.7%
110-119, High Average, 16.1%
90-109, Average, 50%
80-89, Low Average, 16.1%
70-79, Borderline, 6.7%
Below 70, Extremely Low, 2.2%
Apparently, the IQ gives a good indication of the occupational group that a person will end up in, though not of course the specific occupation.
140- Top Civil Servants; Professors and Research Scientists.
130- Physicians and Surgeons; Lawyers; Engineers (Civil and Mechanical)
120- School Teachers; Pharmacists; Accountants; Nurses; Stenographers; Managers.
110- Foremen; Clerks; Telephone Operators; Salesmen; Policemen; Electricians.
100+ Machine Operators; Shopkeepers; Butchers; Welders; Sheet Metal Workers.
100- Warehousemen; Carpenters; Cooks and Bakers; Small Farmers; Truck and Van Drivers.
90- Laborers; Gardeners; Upholsterers; Farmhands; Miners; Factory Packers and Sorters.

Well, to be honest with you, a 113 is only a little above average. You probably have the average intelligence of people who are about one year older than you; However, if you took an authentic IQ test, and did not bother to turn the results around and look on the backside for a score evaluation, but instead tried to ask everybody on Yahoo, then you have the common sense of a chimp.

Did you take a 'Mensa' test or a standardized school test? It really is dependent on the outcome. Different IQ tests use different criteria. Some used timed tests, some use just questions. On the whole, I think it is rubbish. I have an IQ of 142 and I am only book smart. When it comes to real life, I am slow to pick up on stuff and I fumble in social settings. It's not what you have, it's what you do with it.

A genuinine IQ of 113 means you are smarter than average (100) - but what have you done with your IQ lately?
DOctors and LAwyers have IQ in the range of 135-145; College proffessors and PH.Ds 145-155; Nasa scientists and Nobel laurets in the range of 165-185.

If you don't know, chances are you didn't take a professional test but, instead, one online. In that case the score means nothing. If it was a professional test a score of 113 would be at the high end of average.

All IQ tests are biased.
But in general, 100 is average. and i think above 150 is required for MENSA. You're average, nothing wrong with that.
