Coming home from the park or the beach in the summertime in my Daddy's van and hearing the tree branches brush against the top of the van while listening to some great 70's music...then going into the house as the sun set to play a little longer with my parents and sisters before brushing my teeth, taking my bath and cuddling up to sleep. We used to always stop and give our parents a breath check on our way to our rooms. What was up with that? It was our little ritual. So sweet.

mine is being at my grandparents' house, too. After i had been playing a lot in the yard, in the summer, when it was very hot, i used to go into a dark, cool room and lay on a big bed. I think that's my favorite memory.

When I was about 4 years old, my parents and I lived with my grandparents. My grandfather would wake me up early (5 a.m.) and we'd hang out. He was really cool and, since I was the only grandchild, I was spoiled beyond belief.

i think it would have to be the weekends at the beach where we'd go shell picking , crab hunting and basically have a barbeque at the beach after having a good swim .
also , the friday bathtub 6 year old sisterhood moments. the three of us sisters would make a bubble bath and really have a freaky time with toy ducks and boats.

Mine favorite childhood memories all center around time spent with my Dad. He would take me for ice cream, to amusement parks, for boat rides, fishing, water skiing, swimming, tennis lessons, horseback riding, miniature golfing, etc...
My Mom never liked to do any of that stuff.

Playing outside in the snow and eating it. Playing school (I always wanted to be the teacher, of course). And laughing so hard at some things until I cried.
