How many of you think that we should sit back and wait for North Korea to make a move on us after they have fired not one missle but several after being told not to?

Don't underestimate the North Korean military. Although their citizens are starving, the military is highly trained and well stocked. I can tell you that there are enough artillery pieces in North Korea, in underground facilities and otherwise strategically placed, that could seriously destroy much of Seoul within the first few hours of a barrage. I just recently came back from a year in South Korea with the 2nd Infantry Division, and I believe that we still need to focus on negotiations and sanctions rather than any sort of military provocation. Anything we would do will be defensive in nature.

Well, there are two options.
1. Sit back and laugh. The missiles that were launched did not make it very far. Therefore, North Korea's technology isn't there yet. Kim Jong Ill is acting like a child in need of attention.
2. Turn North Korea into a shiny piece of glass.
Which do you propose?

After WWII till now US made a lot of missiles with nuclear warheads and threaten other countries.
Also, US invaded and occupied some other independent countries like Vietnam, Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan with some nonsense excuses and just for US benefits.
THESE ARE I MENTIONED YOU ARE REAL THREATS.
In the other hand, "North Korea" doesn't want to attacking US. They tested some missiles and its a part of their defensive projects, also they want to be able to lunch satellites.
All of these news are propaganda. US needs some excuses to interference in other countries.
If US doesn't threat other independent countries nobody won't threat US.
So you should be worry about US acts.

i say everybody from the west coast move to the east and you'll be ok (till north korea gets a bomb to the east) just nuke north koreas a** the only thing innocent people live there (i think) :(

Just put a missle defense system ready if they do launch one and if we have to shoot down one of their missles then war.

they are also grown up adults who simply want to bring back food after a days work to their wives and kids.
its only the national culture shaped by history that tells our minds which are shaped by our history, dangerous things.
