3 things.... 1. Lots of crunches, on the floor, hook your feet under a couch. 2. Its call the plank.... you lay flat on the ground then lift yourself up with your forearms, and your feet, kinda like a push up, keep your body straight and stay up for 2 mins. It hurts! 3. Similar to the plank, but on the your side, lift up with one of your forearms, and your feet, this time you are not flat on the ground, you are sideways on it. These will tone and tighten every muscle in your ab area, including love handles! let me know if you need more help!! Good luck!

I'm assuming you mean a 6 pack stomach. First you have to lay off carbs (or at least cut down), second you can do sit ups, but not the ones where you sit all the way up, just the half way up kind and then do leg lifts. Make sure you exhale with each exertion so that your muscle will form flat and not rounded.

You definately don't need equipment. Do crunches/sit ups with weight on your chest. 5lbs. to start then move up as you can. Remember, quality is more important than quantity. Try to do it in front of the mirror so you can watch your form. Arms crossed on chest, holding the weight. Go down as far as you can without using your leg or back muscles. If you can only go back a few inches, its a start. When you come back up, crunch your stomach. I do them until it burns to much, then push out one more. Take a short break, but not too long. You want to keep your heart rate up and you don't want to loose your pump. Do at least 3 sets daily. Make sure you are breathing correctly, and do not hyper-extend your neck.

Read the recommendations below. Also, go to the book store and locate the book "Weight Training for Dummies". In chapter 15 you will find excellent information on how to perform abdominal exercises correctly. Page 218 of the book dispels all the myths surrounding abdominal training.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d

Abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym. Eat 6 times a day and drink a gallon of water a day! Good luck

Diet and exercise. Sit ups alone will not get you a 6 pack. The fat that surrounds your abdominal needs to be reduced. You cannot get rid of fat in only one area. You need to reduce your body fat, get it down to about the 6% range. Then the muscles in your abdomen will show.

First of all, you need to lose fat off your stomach. Situps and crunches arent going to do anything but harden your core. You need to do cardio also.Jog 45 min. a day or ride a bike. Just situps and crunches might work for someone who plays basketball, football, or something else that gets your heart puming faster.

First, you need to understand that you have to lose almost all of your body fat, before it will come through. But all you have to do is situps, crunches and things like that. The most important part is not having fat there, otherwise you won't be able to see it.
