Do you really want to consider redating this person? Think about why you broke up, was it because he went into the army? Theres a lot of questions to think about.. If you really care for Mr. Army then go for it but if you broke up with him because he went into the Army don't you think thats kind of selfish?

Is he a friend? Big deal. Ask him to have dinner with you. He's been in an extremely stressful situation, maybe he'd like a friend to be nice to him and maybe listen to him. It's ok to have male friends.
