Even the sun dies. Are you God? Worrying about it is not going to change it. We all are going to die. Hopefully MUCH later. But when you learn how to die you learn how to live. We are made to die. Some people think that it is morbid, but it is not. We must enjoy what we got while we have. Let God handle the rest.

Well, they could go to their local mental health center and get some meds. Keep in mind, though, that MEDS DO NOT WORK RIGHT AWAY and that until one has been on them for about a month, they may just increase that person's gumption to act upon their thoughts. Until the meds take hold, and the person starts to feel normal (and that's really all it feels like-normal-not unnaturally happy) it helps to have a pet, or a hobby, or both. Also, find someone to talk to. It doesn't have to be a family member, professional psychiatrist, or cleric. It could just be a friendly acquaintance-and (this makes things so much easier) you don't have to talk about depression. Even small talk can keep your mind occupied until bad thoughts subside. Sometimes it helps just to sit outside for a moment and just watch something...people, birds, insects, clouds, whatever-and pretend that you are studying them. In short, the most effective way to curb morbid thoughts is this three-step program:

a) acknowledge that these thoughts are part of an oft-misunderstood medical condition that can wreak havok upon you physically as well as mentally (ever had that numb forehead feeling and constricted breathing? Sucks, don't it?) Don't listen to Tom Cruise. He's an actor, and a jackass.

b) once you get treatment, take it faithfully. Don't stop unless advised by a doctor. Don't pause unless advised by a doctor. DON'T EVEN THINK OF SKIPPING THE MEDS UNLESS ADVISED BY A DOCTOR...not just any doctor- the doctor who knows your case. Everyone else should just butt the hell out of it.

c) work with the treatment. Try to live healthy. Get enough sleep and water. Find something to occupy your mind, like a friend, pet, art, or life. It's really beautiful if you take the time to appreciate it, and now may be a fine time to learn.

start thinking about the things that matter in your life....all the people that would really really be sad if they were to never see you again. Think postive and just dont let anything or anybody make you feel down. The only way they can make you feel down is when you let them. Go outside , breathe the fresh air and hear the birds singing. Think about all the people out there who love to be healthy like you. Please just dont think about suicide cuz right now you're making me sad and wish I could just give you a hug and tell you that everything is gonna be ok. Go put on some fun music and just breathe a lil and dance a little. Mein you are gonna be ok...cuz someone up above is watching over you. Peace, friend.

If your are thinking that way you need help
If you are not happy think about what would make you happy and do whatever it takes to get it done
life is too short to be unhappy so go out there and make changes so you can be happy living your life
life is too precious for you to be thinking like this and not living it to the fullest

By thinking of the more positive things in life and how things affect them positively. If that doesn't work, they can talk to some friends or family, if that option isn't available, the Crisis Hotline is a must.

You can't will yourself to stop. Don't listen to those that just tell you to smile and think positive, or to concentrate on something else.
You need professional help.
Finding the right medication can stop those thoughts.
Once you have help and they are under control, then you can focus on all the postive thinking stuff to help keep them away and eventually manage it without medication.

Get professional help. A crisis hotline could tell you where to find it. You might also consider praying about it. There's obviously something missing in your life that makes you feel that way, and God could be the answer. I'll pray for you.
