Why don't you just buy a Hair bleaching kit from Boots. That will have everything you need. If you live near a shop called 'Savers' they sell a bleaching kit called "create the look" It is cheap and it did a great job on mine. But make sure you leave it on long enough, if you hair looks a bit orangey then you need to leave it on longer.

Good luck

you need to purchase three main things:

10 volume developer (the lower the volume the higher the lift)
bleach packets
toner in the color you want (toner is just basically the hair dye you buy in the box at the store...but at the beauty supply you can buy the color and the developer separate)

go to a sally's beauty supply to purchase all the stuff you'll need.

Hi
you use bleaching powder and then mix it with peroxide oxidant cream. there are different strengths depending on how light you wish your hair to go. The strengths are measured in % like 12% or 10% etc.

hope that helps

my friend's mum had made her bleach her hair since she was little but she has really dark eyebrows so everyone knows the real colour

go to a chemists like boots - if scared you'll feel silly asking just look up online

You need to use peroxide. The strength you use will depend on the colour of your hair. If you buy it in a hairdressers warehouse (most are open to the public) they will give you advice as to which is the best for you.

Developer. But what volume depends on what color you are using. 10 vol. is for going darker(deposit only, where there is no lighting involved). 20 vol. is for lifting 1 to 2 shades. 30 vol. is for lifting up to 3 shades and 40 vol. is for lifting 4 shades or more. -I would see your stylist. they are trained and will be able to give you a beautiful color.
