They're selling these "easy 3-step" straightening kits that are supposed to straighten your hair for 3 months going for about 30 bucks. Has anybody tried them or know anyone who has?

Just make sure you follow the time guidelines. Get to know your hair, and definitely have someone to help you the first couple of times you do it. Your first application will be to all of your hair, but after that, it'll just be your roots (virgin hair). Hope that helped you some.....Good Luck!

I have super thick curly blonde hair. I used an at home chemical straightener before and it didn't do alot to me. Chemical straighteners make your hair more pourous (like a sponge) to make your hair weaker and more limp. It isn't usually very good for your hair. But make sure you follow the directions on the bottle and have someone help you out. It would be alot easier and safer if you go to a salon. You could buy and at home straightener and go to a beauty school and ask them to help you out. It makes it alot cheaper.

I have used these products for the last 20 years. They work well. and do last for at least 3 to four months. Do just your roots each re-application though. As they can damage your hair.

i dont recommend that. chemically straightening hair is a big process and is dangerous if u dont do it right u could end up with no hair. if u want staright hair see a professional or buy a straighting iron.

My friend did it, she's 13 & she said it worked, but her aunt & mother had to help her. She said next time she is just going to get it done at the salon. Too much hasel I guess.
