I have a good friend that has a Klee Kai, and it is NOT a mini husky. It has quite a different personality. They do look like a mini husky, but they are not the same.

There are "Alaskan Klee Kai", which are touted as "mini huskies"...These dogs are registered with the UKC, and the literature I've seen on them is careful to explain that they are NOT miniaturized Siberian Huskies, but a dog created by mixing Alaskan dogs with American Eskimos, etc.

I've met a few of these dogs, and was thinking of getting one a few years back...but I just can't condone continuing to create new breeds for companion/pet purposes when so many good companion dogs are killed in shelters every day.

Now a days people have come up with every possible breed in toy to huge ---I just wish the unwanted dogs and cats (any animal really) were taken in before others were born it sad

They are called Klee Kai and they are very cute, look like Husky puppies.
