No, he just realized and didnt agree with some of the things that the nation was doing. Therefore he set out to establish his own group of followers that agreed with his views.

The is no "Muslim nation" in the United States. There is a sect known as the Nation of Islam. Malcom X was killed during a power struggle. He lost.
