You need to bread the okra first, just like you would if you were going to fry it now. Then Blanch it, meaning, fry it until the coating just sets, and is still pale. Then let it drain and cool and then lay it on a baking sheet covered in wax paper or foil and freeze. Once the okras are frozen, then you can put them into a freezer bag. The reason you need to blanch them first, is to set the coating. This will also make for crisp okra and not soggy ones. Also by freezing them on the baking sheet, they will freeze individually and not clump up. This makes it easy to take out what you need when you want to serve it. To cook, just heat your oil, add the blanched frozen okra and enjoy.

Cut into about 1" thick pieces (unless you prefer for it to cook down more, cut into smaller pieces) and freeze.
