First off, Boxing is a Martial Art guys! second, Bruce Lee would win simply because Lee came after Ali and Lee studied the moves of Ali in great detail. Lee is also a more technicial fighter. Even if Lees was forced to fight boxing rules, I still think he would have won against Ali because of this. He would have just been so much faster. Remember, when Lee threw a punch it actually travelled faster than a ninja star or dart. They had to slow the camera down to catch it. And if you ever saw his demonstration of the 3 inch punch, you would not doubt his power. So for all these reasons, I think Ali would not stand a chance even if Lee was restricted to boxing rules.

People keep on forgetting that Muhammed Ali has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, so he would know how to throw a kick if needed to Bruce Lee. However, Bruce Lee is much more versitile and would know how to neutralize Ali's punches no matter how strong or quick they were, because JKD is a much better fighting style than boxing could ever be.

Muhammad Ali. Bruce Lee was about 5'7" and 130 pounds, while Ali was 6'3" and about 225 pounds. 1 strong punch from Ali could crush Bruce Lee's skull. Lee may have been quick, but all Ali would need would be one direct shot.

Well, at their prime, Muhammad Ali was the more powerful bloke, but Bruce Lee would probably fight dirtier. Are we going by official boxing rules or not? If not, Bruce Lee, if so, Muhammad Ali.

bruce lee , first the man is a legend second if anyone had studied a bit more about him , you would know that he practised his martial art without boundaries or restriction of form he could hit you with any part of his body.he was never constricted by positionning or rules which would be ali's downfall.as great as ali was he would only use his hands he'd probably give bruce a run for his money but ultimately bruce would whoop his ***.

You're talking two different styles of fighting. If ALi could get a good clean shot, Lee would be out like a light.

I think Bruce would win, because Bruce considered his type of fighting and art. Ali was a good fighter but it didn't seem like and art to him it seemed like a show, a contest. His arrogance would have been his undoing.

Bruce Lee, no question, Ali was good, but he was limited to throwing punches, Bruce could use his entire body and was so good at fighting he was almost spiritual.
