I hope you are not seeing any suicide bomber and not walking in Baghdad. I don't know how the people answering your question and making fun on that.
Believe me, I know what I'm talking and I know, how our soldiers feeling and get hurt every single day because of that. Be lucky you must not go there. Staying there more than a one year and watching yourself every single seconds, I don't think so, this is fun.

I wish I had a really good answer for you, but I can make a suggestion. Go to myspace and take a look around, there are a lot of solider who are/were in Iraq; they might be able to give you some tips on how to survive.
