At 15 months old, my son got 3 vaccines. He was a healthy little boy, talking but not walking. That night, he screamed all night, stopped speaking and did not say another word (no Mama or Dada) for almost 3 weeks. The next day he was in a stupor, and got a fever that lasted for a week. He had problems crawling into things, and was no longer able to walk while holding my hand. My oldest child had a similar reaction to vaccines, and she now has a mild form of autism. Took him to our pediatrician who said it was coincidence this happened to 2 of my children on the day they got shots. I ignored this and researched online what could have been in the vaccines my son got to cause this reaction, and found two of them contained aluminum, an OSHA-regulated neurotoxin. I had his blood tested--he had aluminum poisoning. 3 months after the shots, we met a Dr who said zinc reduces aluminum levels. In one week, my son began to speak in sentences, play w/ other kids, act like a kid again.

I am very happy for you, but there is no scientific evidence that says that vaccines contribute to the onset of Autism. There have been many studies but it hasn't been proven.

Contact "prove" also you might try getting the info to some of the environmental nonprofit orgs. They have what is probably one of the best media response networks.

this next part is for buttercup: No kidding that it has never been proven. just how do you think it is ever going to be proven unless they start doing actual research on it. So far all we have had is a couple of studies that were designed to show nothing. That's what they showed. Surprise!! You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that the CDC and FDA are playing Russian Roulette with our kids. Heavy metals should not be injected into children whose brains are still developing. PERIOD!!!

I've actaully heard of this before. I know of a healthy baby boy who got his shots (not sure at what age, around 18 mos or so) and they caused him to be autistic. He is now 8 years old and its still so sad to see him that way.

I am glad to see you are spreading the word. You could also try posting bulletins on your myspace. Those seem to travel fast. Maybe send an email to your local news station as well, they may be interested.

Congratulations to you for looking for alternative answers and helping your son. Hopefully, this information will save at least one parent from blindly accepting that nothing can be done.

I'm glad it worked for you. My brother started acting autistic before he had any shots. He only can say about 10 words. He is 37 years old.

That is great that you got your child better! And you are spreading the word by doing it right now. I would go onto MySpace.com and if you wanted to contact the media. They can REALLY get the word out about it. :)
