I don't think so.Why would a god have to send a savior anyway? Why counldnt he just make people born without original sin?The whole things sounds so primitive,so no,I dont think so.
Here's a qoute.Neitzche responded to this assertion with "What atrocious paganism!" See Twighlight of The Idols.
Thanks.Just a thought.

Ok so a bunch of self-righteous religious individuals have answered but if you would like a practical response, I will give it to you. The concept is that the Son has always existed and will always exist at the Father's right hand. He was born into corporeal form through Mary's virgin birth, thereby disconnecting him from original sin, which is essentially the baser aspects of human nature that are tied to this earth, and which are passed on to each human through each conventional conception and birth. The doctrine goes that jesus was both human and divine, in a paradox that mirrors the spark of divinity enclosed in each of us. He, being the son of god, had however reached a degree of unity with the divine of which few living humans are capable (those who do are saints.) The crucifixion constituted the death of the mortal, human jesus. The resurrection was the resurrection of his divine self, which ascended directly into heaven. Basically that's a very short answer to your question. You might want to look up the word "dichotomy" before you read it again.

Riiiight.... The body of Jesus died on Friday. His Spirit never died, because He is Lord. He gave His life as a person to take our sins away.

I am respectful of your faith however misguided. Jesus was a man...a great teacher-ahead of his time...nothing more or less and was NOT the Son of God (if there is one). He didn't die for your sins. Your theology is blastphemous by elevating this guy to the level you have. God (if there is one) had said that I am the one and only. Now...who's paying for the sins of humanity?...The Jews have been suffering for thousands of years as the "chosen people" for exactly that purpose. Think about it and get a clue. In the end God (if there is one) and NOT Jesus will be here and it won't necessairly be a living hell if you've lived as respectfully of self, others, and the environment as you could.

No...he was killed sure, but resurected no...-laughs-
That would go against the natural laws of the world...Natural order is something that we all have to abide by and Im sorry but if someone were to say they believed this to a psychotherapist, they would have a nice shot of something chemical to sedate them and a straight jacket...."Umm yes, I talked with a buring bush" -rolls eyes- Yeah thats real believable...
