I think this could go either way - but here's to hoping in YOUR favor!

If this is your best friend's brother, then chances are it will be a good thing! Imagine (if things go to this level) your best friend being your sister-in-law! How cool is THAT?

I would like to advise you on this . . .
Keep in mind she was the best friend before you had the boyfriend. Stick with her, through thick and thin. Make sure you spend equal amounts of time between them. Don't ever make her feel "left out".

Girlfriends are there forever, boyfriends can be temporary!

The only awkwardness I see from this situation, is if you and the guy break up. Will that be weird for you to see him all the time when you're with your best friend? Or is this something you'll be able to handle?

Talk to your girlfriend and get her honest opinion. First and foremeost, save the friendship!

Just tell her the truth, plus its just too cool to be dating your best friends brother (all in the family)

Talk to your friend and she how they feel about you dating their brother. If they're cool with it, go for it. If not, you have to re-evaluate your friendship, is a relationship with this guy worth losing your friendship over?

Go for it. If your friend gets mad, then she's not a real friend. Friends should want you to be happy.

you are young and she should understand that young people date lots of other young people ... just do it. If she gets mad, she will get over it.
