I am in Love with van Gogh and Rockwell. Here are my reasons:
van Gogh
I love the painting Starry Nigth too! But I thought it was painted by Monet. Oh well.
Rockwell is amazing, he captures every little detail about life in the good ol' days. Every expression and scene, every stroke and every line of his work, every picture captivates me. I love the painting of the little girl, her doll and the doctor, and the doctor listeining to the doll's "heartbeat". It's so cute, but all of his paintings seem lifelike.

there changed into an reveal that got here to the severe Museum the following in Atlanta many years lower back, some thing like "Van Gogh" to Mondrian". It changed into fairly an awesome selection of labor by using many various artists. there turned right into a Mondrian said as Composition XII, and that is staggering in human being. I stared at it for no less than quarter-hour beforehand i fairly talked about what the portray changed into, and when I talked about it, it clicked. It changed into really a lot existence replacing, a minimum of in understand to how I view paintings.

Right now, after seeing an exhibit of his work in the Renwick in Washington DC, I am in love with the work of Grant Wood. Yes, he's the one that painted the American Gothic. But he also did so much more! He made important political statements in his work for the time. I love his realism, and use of light and shadow. You have to see them in person to really appreciate them, I think.
