i think they were called 'mee grob' and they were flavoured with grapefruit. sounds disgusting but honestly...wow. does anyone have the recipe?

its called MEI GORENG!!
and the crispy noodle variety is called CHOP-SUEY!
recipe ...sure
boil the noodles accordingly and keep them al dente thts half done only.
set aside
chop together ginger a dash
garlic a pod
tomatoes 1
capsicum 1
mushrooms
bamboo shoots
grape fruit segments
spring onions
carrots

stir fry all vegs together in a wok,add soy suce,oyster sauce,chilli sauce,ajinomoto ,chilli .pepper and salt
now take the noodles out and toss them in hot oil and fry briefly till crisp!

toss together in veg stir fry and dabble grapefruit juice over it.
may also add shrimps.

ummmm....pal you r making my mouth water!

Yep, it's what's called Mee Grob in the UK - all the Thai Orchid chain of restaurants make them fantastically well. Why don't you ask them??

They're a Thai dish. Sweet and sour fried noodles or Crispy Fried Noodles. They look amazing. Here's one that I found.:

The second link might be closer, it has lime.

The third link has a picture. And contains coconut vinegar. I'm getting hungry. lol

Never heard of them but the wrapper will tell you what's in it. If it's Thai, you may need to kill a dog!
