So are you saying if the united states joins Mexico it will become a life of the Mexicans?? Well, honestly why do we have a president like we do?? Bad? do we deserve him? Does Mexico deserve the government to be all corrupted, it's not the people fault because they don't get to choose the president and People who think we choose the president needs to grow up because we don't...Mexico is bad because the government is corrupted and if the people go on strike to fix the situation it..well like in Cuba..they will kill them and nobody will notice because they are scared...Like here it is so sad how we all divided from this issue and it is really hard to be live it's not about race because maybe these American people see that Latinos are rising and we tend to be good workers and are taking over...also it's not only Latino or illegals aliens making crimes it's also white, black,Asian, everybody, that;s just a reason more to hate on Latino and send them back....

"IF" that happened it would become a $h!t hole like Mexico, as it has, already, in areas that are highly populated by Hispanics. I don't believe it will come to that. The ILLEGAL immigrants are heading back to their homelands, be it Mexico or Ireland, so with the large group of Hispanics gone, there won't be such a drain on our Governmental programs and we will be capable of keeping our cities better maintained.
Why is Mexico the way it is? Mexican people had rather come here and get a free handout, protest the USA for rights they don't have, try to take land that belongs to us, than to stay there, work for living, protest THAT government, unite and make a difference THERE. Why stay at home when you can go next door and get a free 'smorgasbord', RIGHT?!
They could change things, but they are too lazy!
The people can do plenty to make a country what it is and here in the USA WE will do what we can to keep our country free of illegal invaders and to fight to make our leaders enforce our laws.. WE won't sit back and let it turn into another "MEXICO".

Pretty much, they see our country as an 'easy out', a way to quickly gain the benefits that they just have never achieved for themselves in Mexico, a lot blame the government, but the truth is they ran away from their problems. Mexico needs reforms, maybe we'll see some now with their new president, maybe we won't, either way we get the border fence built and the Border Patrol on the job, and just start combing for conflicts-of-interest,
and we'll at least have OUR half of the Mexico problem solved...then we can maybe focus better on more productive ways to help em...

It's also saturated with Vietnamese, Irish and Russians. Do you feel any more Vietnamese, Irish or Russian?
America's a land of immigrants. Usually the immigrants start on the lowest rung of society and work to gradually blend into their newly adopted country. The immigrant's children usually bridge the cultural divide.
America's a lot of things because it's made up of a lot of different people so yes, in answer to your "sub"-question, the people do make the country what it is.
And if it weren't for our Mexicans, Guatemalans and other recent immigrants, we'd be looking at $6 heads of lettuce, less construction and dirtier homes and work places. Thank 'em for contributing to our way of life instead of worrying about how it'll affect you. Try to give them a higher standard to live by instead of stooping to alarmist racism.

No, that is actually a racist question...
It wouldn't because the quality of life there regarding income is determined by the level of investment that the current political status quo allows...
Mexico is the way it is because of the economic system it has in place, it's only the systems, not the people...

It already has gone down the drain in border towns and resembles Mexico. That will just spread into other parts of the country.

Here you can certainly tell where they live. It looks nasty and run down, like a ghetto so yes, wherever they are, it's going to look like a trash dump. That being said, the people make the country what it is, like you said.
That is why real Americans don't want illegals here. We want to keep America beautiful and throw out the trash.

Yes it will become exactly like Mexico, because here in the US, there isn't any corruption, bad politics, bad cops, drugs...God forbid!
So when this happens, what country will you run to? Will it be the one your ancestors came from to make a better life for themselves???
HUUUUHH????
