For me, when i was younger in school, I would change friends, like every 3 to 6 months. Because, i moved around alot, and so did my friends. Even if i was there, for a little while. The good friends, that i had didn't understand why. Only if my lifetime 3 of my closet friends know...... They are the one's, that have stayed in my life the longest. I think the rest wasn't up to my standards. (that's why, i changed so much.) I also, was an armybrat too. So, it was kinda normal for me. LOL!

Well, everybody changes... so it is inevitable that your friends change tooo... everybody grows up and has different opinions, and there is nothing anybody can ever do about it...
Did your friend hurt you? It is hard to let go sometimes... I have a friend that was very close to me very quick and then all of a sudden I started getting the cold shoulder, the politicians smile and greeting, and I tried to ask why over and over, but no answer... she just sends me bulk e-mails now, funny jokes that's all.....
You have to let them go and be themselves.... unless your friend is getting mixed up with the wrong types of people and situations, then a true friend will stand up and try to knock some sense into her....

My experience is that friends change for a couple of reasons. One is that we pass through different stages in our lives. I think it would be unhealthy to keep the same jr. high and high school friendships alive for your whole life. As you get older you lose the interest in having sleepovers, talking all night on the phone, etc. People change, some get married, have kids, move away, and make friends with people in similar walks of life. I have lost many friends due to the fact that one of us has lost the interest in a hobby or sport. I have lost other friends who have lost interest in keeping friendships alive due to marriage or children. Friendships are very unpredictable because 2 or more (ever changing people) are involved.

It's a part of life. Some things change. Some things stay the same. You have to learn to accept the changes. Things and people don't always stay the same. Even though we would like them to sometimes it's better to accept the way things are and just move on.

the individuals who we call friends are special to us because of the person in which they are, the person they wish to become, or even the person they will never be. Nevertheless, they make a significant difference in the perception of our own lives.
they, like you, constantly encounter new comprehension through different experiences and therefore modify and adapt.
my great friends, about two, have definitely changed in many positive aspects and i see it in them everytime i go back home on leave. i respect and love them for it. i too have changed because i am in a far off location but you should always remember where your roots have stemmed from and you may even thank god for the special people he has put in your life that have assisted you and i into the people we have gradually become today. change is not an easy process but it is very necessary when broadening one's own horizons. expand your mind. breathe in life- impurities and all.

People change. Plain and simple. It's a healthy natural part of life. You will too someday. Just make sure the two of you keep on each others good side and stay friends.

You guys grow apart and mature at different rates. You realize what you want from life as well as your friends, and if its way different from each other, then you grow apart. Change is a way of life, if everything stayed the same then we will have no electricity, clean water tooth brush, and smell like you don't wanna know.

For the same reason that EVERYone changes. Its human nature to grow up, grow out, find new interests & hobbies, and move on to bigger better things in life. Very few people sit in the same place for years and years, and never change. The ones that DO do that are considered losers.
