I know how it feels. However since it's summer you can substitute sweets with fruits and drink much water. It really helps!!! I have problem identical to yours ( I love sweets and have them just out of pure boredom), but now since I'm commited to drink at least 3 liters of water per day, I don't wants sweets as much as I did.
Also, there must be an emotional disharmony that makes you look for sugar and simple pleasures like food. Try to figure what it is: maybe fatigue, depression or infatuation...and try to resolve it by counseling with good friends.
I sincerely wish you terrific results and flattering reflection in the mirror!!!!!! And more than that - inner peace.
Blessings!!!

I get like that once in a while too. But what I'd suggest is that you get to the bottom of WHY you're constantly thinking about food. As you said, you splurge on sweets even when you're not hungry. So it must be psychological. Another suggestion is that you fill yourself up with fruits & vegetables if you really can't stop eating. Then at least it's healthy and you won't feel as guilty. However, you may want to visit a doctor if this keeps up.

First of all..stop comparing yourself to others! Each person is unique so comparisons are useless. Second, if you worry about your weight i expect that you diet all the time and then binge on sweets...Stop dieting! If you eat small portions of food several times a day you wont get the urge to splurge, fall in love with carrots, cucumbers etc..if you eat those you actually lose rather than gain weight. This is because you burn more calories while eating and digesting them than there are in the product.Third, keep up the good work with your work outs and remember that you need to eat properly for your body to be able to endure a good work out.

Umm, no i really dont think you have an eating promblem. However, you do think about ur weight to much, and thats only cuz ur not happy with it. Trust me i'm just like you. I can't see a thin person walk by cuz not once will i NOT wish i was thin. And really the more i thought and thought about it....i ate and ate. So that wasn't working. What u should do is write out a plan. when ur about to eat, ask urself.. "am i really hungry", and drink alot of water, alot times people mistake hunger for thristy. More than anything..u have to get out and do sumthing active. Just as extra adivse, i'm drinking Herbalife. I love it. lol. i kno it works, so if u can't stop eating, give it a try. Its food, but it's good for you. :]

Your weight needs to be secondary to your health. Working out is a great way to tone up what you have, but be aware that building muscle mass will cause your weight to increase because lean tissues weigh more than fatty tissues, so don't let this discourage you. Throw away the scale in your bathroom and use your clothes as your guide. Also, be aware of your nutrition; eat foods high in proteins as well as vitamins and minerals. Cut back some on sweets and carbs, but don't stop eating them either or you will go crazy. You need to allow yourself to indulge a little. Above all EAT AS MUCH OF THE GOOD FOODS AS YOU WANT! This is vital to your success. Starving yourself will slow your metabolism by putting your body into a state of panic. Not eating tells your body there is a famine, and that it must slow your metabolism down to survive. Only by convincing your body that food is plentiful as well as vitamin rich will it increase itself into burning the excess fats from your body. In the short term you will see an increase in weight. This is perfectly normal; it results from your body trying to hang on to food while in famine mode. Eat healhy and eat often to get past this. Pretty soon you will start liking what you see in the mirror.

Stop eating so much! You say you want to lose weight, but your body tells me you don't. You want to be happy. Your brain (not your body) wants to be stimulated and satiated with food.
Your body doesn't. All it wants is the nutrition it needs. You probably aren't giving it the nutrition it needs. When it doesn't get fed properly, it will keep being hungry until it gets it.
I bet you are eating junk. Your body is not satisfied, so it's still hungry. You eat more junk, and your body keeps being hungry.
You gotta break the cycle. Eat only what your body needs, not what your brain wants. Exercise to stimulate your brain instead of stuffing your face. Exercise is something you need for oxygen delivery to the muscles, and it also burns calories and that will help your body look the way it was meant to look, beautiful, and not fat.

Sweets and sugary foods are so addicting, that's the problem with eating too much of them, the more you eat the more you want. if it's really bad, try going to the doctor and getting an appetite suppressor, it will be prescription, and depending on your weight and what it should be you will have to be on the meds from anywhere to 3 weeks to 3 months. Good luck!

You see, sugars cause your system to want more. When you cut out the carbs, you will crave less.
I recommend that you READ to learn. Get the South Beach Diet book, and learn what you can about nutrition. Then change the way that you eat for a life-time, and do not do a DIET thing. You will feel much better and much better about yourself.
It is very important to LOVE yourself before thinking of others. Once you LOVE yourself, you will find it easier to love others; and others will love you.

You have an eating disorder. You are using food to meet your emotional needs (i have the same problem for 25 years). You need a spiritual practice to fill yourself from the inside so you don't try to solve your feelings with food. I recommend yoga. It changes how you can fill yourself up without using food.
