i very recently (as of 2 days ago) stopped nursing my 1 year old. it was hard but i slowly just started giving him the breast only once a day in the morning and gradually tried not to give it to him unless he really wanted it. (he would usually pull at my shirt or something) The last two days i havent given it to him. I think it will be harder for you because your baby is 2 but i think the best way is to slowly do it. it's better for you so your breasts don't get engorged and for your baby because he will slowly detach himself and maybe find something else that will be more soothing to him to replace it. good luck!

Do it in stages. Start with water and other types of milk along with baby food. Consult your dr. or the leleche league for more details. Good luck

have you tried using a pump to drawl the breast milk and put it in a bottle? my mother +aunt did that, and slowly worked all their kids from the breast to the bottle.
