That's a very difficult question, and if there are statistics from polls, how you know the women were honest?
And, do you want the average of "total sexual partners divided by women asked" or the figure where 50% of the women were above and 50% below? There could be a significant difference between the two averages.
I'm male 33 and it's OK if the woman I meet had 30 sexual partners before, or 10 or 1 or none - easy.

That's a survey not an opinion . One would need the age bracket , some young girls believe they are women at 15 years old . My guess is the younger the more sexual partners , due to the fact of time .On average relationships.And countries , many factors.

So what gives? men have on average 20 partners but women only 6? where are the missing 14 partners for the average? either women are downplaying the amount of sexual partners or men are adding partners. I'm inclined to believe that women are downplaying their numbers for whatever reason.

it depends on how old she is and what generation she grew up in.
I think women who are in their fourties-fifties have had an average of anywhere from 20-45 partners.
Women in their twenties right now have an average of about 5-10 I would say, unless they are Christian. then it is none or 1.--or if they are real ghetto, then it's about 25-50 because they started earlier.
women from the generation X who are in their late twenties to late thirties have had an average anywhere from 10-30.
