I would make fresh every day then you have no worries.

Unsweet tea will last longer than sweet tea in the fridge. Bacteria LOVE the sugar in sweet tea! I don't know how long tea really lasts in the fridge though. It only lasts a couple of days in my fridge because everyone drinks it so fast! Your best bet is to make smaller batches, and ditch them after a week if you're not drinking it. OR you can buy the powder tea from Nestea now, and just make ice tea a glass at a time, so you don't have to worry about throwing away moldy tea anymore! (And it really does taste great!! I used to use it before I got married to a sweet tea addict!)

It should be good to three to four days. You might want to pick up an inexpensive fridge thermometer to see what temp your fridge is at. I needs to be around 40 degrees.
How old is the moldy tea?

Are you talking about sun tea or regular brewed ice tea? See the two links below. Tetley says you should not keep brewed tea overnite, but I do, but never more than about 3 days, and *always* in glass, not plastic. Plastic makes it get *funky* really fast!! And sun tea, as you'll see from below, is a *real* danger, so be careful there. Good luck.

maybe like three days so that it isnt really strong and hasnt had time to rot yet you could put in an ice cube tray and freeze it so you dont waste the tea or just freeze it so it doesnt get moldy and then just defrost it when you want to drink it
