Don't be a pessimist for starters. You're probably just having a dry spell - it happens to the best of them. Maybe you shouldn't be looking, just enjoy your time hanging out at social events (concerts, clubs, happy-hours, comedy shows) with your girlfriends without placing some type of unrealistic expectation on when you should meet a man. ENJOY LIFE!

Now, don't get me wrong (*sigh*). If I had to go based on your avi, you're a Caucasian woman, and you obviously like black men. Are you opening yourself up to opportunities with men of other colors or ethnicities? Unfortunately, and BELIEVE ME, it pains me to say it because I am black myself, but these days, you have to. A black, or any other woman, who holds the dream of a black man riding in on a white horse is likening herself to playinig the lottery with her entire last paycheck. The odds just aren't that great.
You ask where they are? It could be a lot of places: in jail, perhaps? Seriously...(oh, geez...I feel a lot of retribution coming because of this answer!), I'm being brutally honest.
Too many black men don't have fathers to teach them how to act, let alone to treat a woman. I'm NOT saying give up on a black man, but I'm stating what I have heard from black men themselves.
I have observed these things about a good proportion of them, which is why I have *always* dated outside of my race for as long as I can remember:
1. In prison, or has been (not that someone can't turn their life around, but it's an uphill climb, you understand...).
2. Don't want to get an education, or want something handed to them, which is yet another uphill climb.
3. They DO have it going on, so they feel the need to play mind games with multiple women because these women are at their disposal.
4. On the down low.

Please don't hate me for this answer! LOL.

Usually they're done playing around at that age and settle down with a job and family. Unfortunately for a black woman of the same age group, they get left out because the men pick up younger girls. So basically if you didnt get a man and hold on to him about 10 years ago, you might be hurting to find one now.

Try church single groups, referrals from friends, dating services and the personal ads.

Go where the men are...sporting events, clubs, the beach etc.

Try shopping more at manly places like Home Depot and Lowe's.

You have got to become more active to get what you want.

In jail, gay, or with women of other races. Oh yeah and the rest are either married or in a committed relationship.

By the way.....Are you black? You need a new Avatar.

Not here. No wonder you have no luck, you look in the entirely wrong places.
