Over the long run, you can't beat slots. You can however get lucky in the short run.
Your best chance is to play online. Many online casinos pay way above the Las Vegas average for slots with payouts ranging from 93-97%. They will also give you a bonus for signing up. Get more info about casino bonuses and payout percentages at http://www.ranked-online-casinos.com/payout-percentages.html
In general, it's an uphill climb no matter where you play, but good luck!

Here are "jackpots" I've won on slots in past 6 years:
$1400
$1000
$600
$500
Like other's have said. It's all a chance. But you can change your luck sometimes by when you spin the wheels. There is a RNG (Random Numbers Generator) inside slots which are always spinning. So when you press SPIN, the RNG stops and that number determines whether you win or not. So theoretically you could win back to back jackpots depending on when you stop the RNG.
There are also slots (usually video) that allow you to stop the wheels manually. After pressing spin, you can press it again to stop it. In time you could actually become proficient at this and stop the wheels when you can "see" a winning combination. I know this works because on Monopoly machine once, I got 30 BONUS screens in couple of hours when I got like 5 the previous several hours.

You can't. I hit $800 twice within a matter of two days by playing 4 Card Keno on the 25 cent machine by hitting 6 out of 6 and playing 4 cards, so that was $1600 with about a $100 investment into the machines. However, within three weeks of going to different casinos about an average of every other day, guess what? Yup you guessed it, I gave it all back. Sad, huh? However, I'm on vacation and will look at it as an experience, I most likely won't try to repeat if I should ever get so lucky again. I'll spend my winnings on things I need.

You Can't!
Slots are designed to Beat YOU! all the time! Gambling is never in favor of the gambler. It is always in favor of the house. Slot machines have settings inside that allow the house to determine how often the machine pays out. So no matter how often you play. The machine will always pay out less than it makes.
Gambling is a pure profit industry. For every BIG winner, there are 100 Big losers.

You can't beat slots with a system or pattern matching. Slots are truly random machines, regardless what anyone else says.
There are plenty of DVD's and books out there on HOW to beat the slots, and the casinos are laughing all the way to the bank because of it... because they don't work.
You would figure that anyone who COULD figure it out wouldn't NEED to write a book, because they'd already be independantly wealthy on Slot Machine winnings...
You would ALSO figure that the manufacturers and Casino owners would know about these tactics and fix them before they started losing money.
You can't sway the lottery in your favor... you can't strategically beat the slots... and Casino owners are stinking rich for a reason.

This guy I used to work with won over $50,000 one year on the slots. Luck has got alot to do w/it, but some machines have a pattern. You gotta have enough money to lose and the stones to lose it!
This guy won around $1,200 to $2,000 at a time on a certain $5 machine (he knew which one). He would drop a hundred in and it would hit small twice and the third time it hit it was big!
If your machine doesn't hit big in 3 times I would go to a different machine and I usually don't wait that long! I just try to "nickel and dime" the machines by hitting maybe $5-10 on random quarter and dollar machines.
Just my experiences here, never won a huge amount so this is just advice! I don't gamble alot, but if you want odds slightly in your favor, try craps or poker if U R good!
Good luck!

Stop playing! Then you win!
Oh, you can also put in tons of credits, then hit the cash out button without spinning the wheels. I guarantee you will break even everytime!
I like to play table games where I have some level of control. For me, slots are only good for getting rid of extra change in my pocket.

legally? the different combinations come out in a certain order and repeats itself, u COULD mark the order down (these ppl r called bean counters) but the diff. combinations r in thousands until it repeats itself. The slots r supposed to b random but no machine can be truly random.

Now you have me wanting me to go to the casino. Most of the time when a person hits a small jackpot they get up and walk away from the machine. I look for those machines that are vacant and show the last payout was sizable. And most of the time the machine is on a payout roll. Try it, its cool.

well they say that the ones near the entrance are set to pay out more as the bells and sound of cash falling in the pan attract people in. So if that is a fact then stick near the door, as for beating them they programmed to pay out so much , can you win maybe not.
best way to beet them just walk on bye
