It still seems like the couple should have first choice of what you play, subject to your veto if you are unable to play it.
Another factor would be where the song fits in the ceremony. But, here are some songs you might consider:
'Colour My World' by Chicago
'Sea of Love' - originally from the 50's or so; don't recall the original artist, but it was redone in the 80's by The Honeydrippers.
