Yeah, Brisvegas! The casino in the city is grand and nice, also visit Southbank (just jump on the train at Central, get off at South Brisbane) for a pie and laze on the beach in the city! This area is a whole cultural precinct.

Or jump on a train to Dakabin (about 50 mins) to Alma Park Zoo to see native animals.

Shop in Queen Street Mall or better yet, The Valley (Fortitude Valley), again you can catch the train. Chinatown is here and they have killer gelato!

You can't go to Brisbane without checking out what's underwater ! There's awesome diving in Moreton Bay, off Stradbroke Island and many other places around.

For a bit of fun try the theme parks. I believe they have about 4 major ones.
