Is this the reason why we lost our land to muslims and Brits?
We lost our open - knowledge based culture in last 1000 yrs, WHY?

I don't know. But in actuality, what happened was that we lost our land to the Muslims. And they, in turn, lost it to the Brits. And it was just a long series of bad decisions, and weak rulers that caused us to lose our land to the Muslims.

You're right. We Hindus never try to expand our religion. Never bothered anyone but we got bothered a lot. We have to stop turning the other cheek and protect our faith. We have always believed that all religions lead to the same truth but no one agreed with us. Well, I have had enough, it's time to put an end to this. We should still be open minded but that does not mean that we have to get beaten up.

You lost your land because other people had bigger and better weapons. Ultimately, that's the only reason any war is ever won...and the people who win write the history books.
