they forget the 3 lb of brain they have is too small to understand the wonders of the universe and think tooo small
besides ... ouch....they're in denial
see Romans 1 they exert considerable effort denying that God is
at some level they know it and have to really work at it to deny him

Whose God has it figured out - yours or theirs? We all have the right to believe in what we want and not be critized for it. You go on beliving that the black book you read that was written by man is true.....believe that your god lets hungrey children die and be abused, believe that your god lets the worst of all evils happen to his "children" to teach them a lesson. If that's the case, then I'll continue to believe that we have evolved, not enough or these things wouldn't happen, but at least some of us recogize that and work toward a better tomorrow and not sit in a building once a week and place blame on some creature that lives in a fire pit.

Who said that atheists have it all figured out? Religious people have not figured it out themselves. This group believes in one thing this another. I mean who is right? Atheists are just a little more open to the fact that you all may be right and you all may be wrong.

That's a pretty presumptuous question. I don't think I "have it all figured out," and I'm a bit insulted that you would claim I do.
In a nutshell, atheists (such as myself) are all different people with different points of view. I know a couple who act like they "have it all figured out," but I think that every group of people has members who act that way. My stepfather is a devout Methodist and acts like he has it all figured out too.
The attitude you're referring to is a personality trait, not an atheistic one. Some people, regardless their religion or lack of religion, act like that, but most people don't.
If you are wondering why atheists do not believe in god, then perhaps you should join a discussion board like the Internet infidels and ask them yourself.

Atheists don't believe in God,so how could they possibly understand that He has everything figured out?
This whole religious debate is ongoing, with neither side being able
to present any proof that they're right. (No,the Bible doesn't count,
it was written by human beings.) I think I'll remain neutral and enjoy the show.

Your statement is wrong on a number of points.
1) No atheist I know (that includes me) claims to have it all figured out. We are human and hence our knowledge will always be limited.
2) You have no evidence to support your claims that a) God even exists and b) he has it all figured out.

Wow! I never looked at it that way! How could I have been so misguided? Ah! It was that pesky Satan again, wasn't it? Thank you, Angel, for opening the gates to my Salvation in the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Sing together, former atheists:
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now I'm found!
Was blind but now I see!
Glory, glory, hallelujah! His truth is marching on!

What is it that you think they need to figure out? Are you puposely imposing your belief system on others because you think you are right? Communists do that, Socialist do that and heck even politicians do that. Why not let people believe what they choose to believe and go one with your own life.

Why haven't people figured out that we don't need their religious or political opinions? I'm sorry, but I have beliefs of my own - I'm all full. Go sell opinions to someone who doesn't have any.

We don't think we have it all figured out. We know that we don't and we are making an attempt to figure it all out.
Why do Christians always try to trip us up?
