Have not used lately, can MS Paint convert format and also size of pics???

paint can save files in a variety of formats - open the pic you want to convert then go File -> Save As, then in the save dialogue box that comes up, look at the bottom and there is a file type, you can select BMP, JPG, GIF etc..

You can resize them by going to sketch skew and to make smaller use like 50% and bigger like 150%. I've found it's more likely to make it blury and disfigured than something like Paint Shop Pro.
