You can purchase home perms, but if you don't know what you are doing you can really damage your hair. Or you can using a curling iron or hot rollers. If you are trying to avoid the cost of a perm at a salon, check out beauty schools in your area. They provide services at a much lower cost than most salons and while the students are still learning, they are supervised by professionals. Good luck!

depends on your hair type. You can go to your local Sally's beauty supply store and they can tell you the best way to do it for your hair type. If you don't want to spend a little money then you can use rollers if you have them... If not you can take an old sheet or pillow case tear it into strips about 1 inch thick and about 12 inches long. Then take your WET hair in small sections and wrap it around the cotton strips you just made. After rolling it to the root of your hair tie the ends of the cotton together and let it dry completly. You will have curly hair. :)

for temporary curls, use a curling iron. but if you're like me and the curls go away in 10 minutes, heres a better solution.
after you take a shower (before going to bed) put your hair up in ragtails. if you have thicker hair just do the top layer and try the curling iron to just curl the ends in. use hairspray to keep the curls in place. when you first take the ragtails out, you will have to style them, but remember, if you brush them, they will frizz! you might have to brush them to detangle your hair, but afterwards use a product that will stop the frizz. this makes your hair seem more wavy than curly, but if you put them up correctly, they will look great!
if you want something like a perm i don't know what to do except for getting a perm. (sorry!! :( )

You could get a perm. Hot rollers work really well, too. I use a very thin (1/2") curling iron and curl a small strand all the way to the root and spray it while its rolled.

* Apply a generous dollop of gel to damp hair to hold the style and to tame frizzies, before getting started.
* Apply rollers and leave them on until your hair dries completely. Avoid applying heated rollers unless essential. You could also apply sponge rollers at night, and remove them the next morning.

Good luck babe xx

You could try using a curling iron or heated rollers. I'm pretty sure they're available in most stores.
