hell no!!! thats a major fire code. 90% apt fires are caused by bbq grills, or oven cooking. people do not realize after the food is taken off the grill is still hot. they just leave the grills be...ignoring the grill is still hot....with high heat that becomes very easy to start escalting the BTU'S on the material around it. like wood, plastic, boxes, chairs, or anything else. remember most apt construction is balloon construction. the eash apt shares the same wall, and roof. so there is alot of air pocets behind the walls, up/down stairs ceiling, and actic. what makes fire spread...oxgen which is air.!!!!

Get a small one and keep a spray bottle of water to keep down on the smoke.

There are usually local ordinances that prohibit gas grills, but sometimes not!
