Okay, first of all, my boyfriend died, and then about two months ago I had a dream that he was alive, but he acted like he didn't even know me. I was heartbroken.

But now, I met a boy at camp, and we made out a couple times, and I dreamt last night that I was trying to hug him and all that crap, and he didn't even want me.

Does this mean anything?

You are afraid of losing what you have, plain and simple. It is normal to experience this after losing something close to you. You found out that you don't always get what you hope for, and you are afraid of it happening again. Your boyfriend didn't leave you on purpose and you shouldn't be afraid to explore new relationships. If this guy decides he doesn't want to be with you someone else will come along. You are young yet you have time and don't settle for somthing less than what you want because you're afraid.

The first dream is you remembering that he left and how that made you feel alone. Even though he was alive, him rejecting you in the dream may have something to do with him passing away in real life.

The second dream is a dream that is rehashing the first one. You are remembering the hurt of loosing your first love and are scared its going to happen again.

Go talk with a counsler and resolve any old emotions from your bfs passing before trying to get into or involved with a new partner.

( these are just my personal interpretations, I could be wrong)
In the first dream, your boyfriend acted like he didn't know you cos he doesn't want you to keep thinking about him and be hurt all the time. It's as if he's saying in the dream: "don't keep thinking about me, move on, be happy & pretend this didn't happen and you didn't know me. After all I only want you to be happy".

The second dream, I think is generally about you having a difficulty/ fear in starting a new relationship after what happened just recently. I don't blame you really. It may be wise to not start anything new until you feel comfortable and ready. Good luck!

Iam sorry for your loss, sounds like you have had a lot to deal with. I don't know the situation but I would say that if your boyfriend died unexpectedly ..it has left you with a fear of abandonment. (reasonably so) My guess is that you feel like your boyfriend left you alone, deserted and you're afraid that someone else will too. Work on your loss before you start something else and I recommend that you talk to a counselor, etc to help you with your abandonment issues and your grief. Good luck!!

How did your boyfriend die? It is possible that, even though it was totally not your fault, you may be feeling some underlying guilt. Maybe things were left unsaid, maybe you feel hurt because he left you. What you are experiencing is normal. I had a friend go through something similar, it gets better in time. And even though he isn't physically here anymore, you can still talk to him. Tell him what you're feeling, fears, anger, guilt, all that stuff. Don't hold back on your grief.

When your bf died it probably made you feel abandoned, like he left you here. We cant control what happens, I wish we could but it sounds like your dreams are expressing your feeling of your ex being unabtainable. Now everyone is unabtainable. Before you go to bed lay down and start thinking of your happiest memories with your ex you should have better dreams soon if not right away I should know my ex died in 2000!!

The first part to me seems that your boyfriend was trying to make you understand that you have to move on with your life, by acting like he had in the dream. The second part I think has to do with the fact that you fear loosing something special so your mind makes you think there is nothing there.

Sounds like sub-consciencely you are afraid you will lose another boyfriend. That's a terrible thing to have to go through, especially if you are young. You should go and talk to a counsellor if you can. Sorry for your loss.

if it reallly bothers you a lot, im being totally serious here you may want to see a sychologist. my mom is one and they can sometimes tell you what your subconcious thoughts are based on your dreams. right out of my mind it probably means that you still love your old boyfriend and YOU THINK he would be mad that you were loving other people. he wouldn't be if he is reasonable though. as i said, you may want to see a sychologist.
