I didnt know there even was a daily recommended intake for wine! I sure hope there's one for beer too! hahaha
If I had to guess tho' I would say that one glass would be the recommened limit. I can't imagine many doctors telling their patients to down a whole bottle of wine a day! I read that just one glass of red wine a day was supposed to be good for your heart so I'm sticking with one glass!!!

The FDA suggests no more than one 6 oz glass for females over 50, and no more than 2 glasses for males over 50, in order to provide the beneficial qualities that have been linked to a reduced chance of heart disease. Research for younger age groups have not been conclusive..... yet

It will better for your health to drink green tea with honey and lemon for active life. Of course, simetimes one glass of red wine in wintry day is good too.

needed? hmmm. i'm not sure that's needed cuz i survive well without taking it everyday. if you mean taking red wine each day to keep you healthy, then i've heard like half a wine glass with dinner.
