It may be on a gay website, but the study came from a report commissioned by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

I've read the article and that's true but I feel like you represent it wrong.
Of course it's better for children of gay parent if they can marry.
The article talks about that.It doesn't claim that gay parents are better for a child than hetero parents.
I'm totally in favor of equal rights in every way for gay or lesbian people but you can't deny that such parents, even when they get all the legal rights, face a lot of discrimination and that could be hard on a child.
So,hopefully society will mature on this issue.

personally i can't stand the thought of same sex anything, but i don't think it's the same sex that helps, i think it's the love two people share, to a kid that is all that matters. a hetero couple that fights all day and ignores the need of their children, or a gay couple who love and cares for a kid, i am against gays, but i am for love so in that case the gay couple would win that if that was the case.

Nowhere does it mention the ridicule and scorn that a child will endure. Prejudiced parents produce prejudiced children and those are the children who will make a child's life a living hell when they enter a public setting, if both parents are the same sex.

well, the link isn't showing up for me, but i think that if the choice is between leaving kids in a group home vs a home with two loving parents, i'd choose the latter. doesn't matter what sex they are.

Same sex marriage hurts a child when people keep telling that child how wrong it is. Otherwhise, how will they know the difference?
