No one is safe that is why American children take guns to school.It will help they later in life, as they can defend themselves against threats as adults, as we have a few more countries to conquer (Iran, North Korea) and any other pissant country that opposes us.

yeah buh has created problems huh.. Like ignorance from people like you. You can't even spell his name! haha.. No citizens will not suffer, except from stupidity of other citizens. I mean this isn't the first president to not do the greatest job and we are a fine country. We have problems yes, but it could be a whole hell of a lot worse. So in a short answer no American children are not safe, because there is way too much ignorance in this country that blinds them everyday!

Americans are extremely safe. Most of the American nations tend to keep to themselves so the rest of the world leaves Americans alone. There is one nation the US that keep sticking it's nose in everybody's business, and so, they are at risk. So United Statesians are at risk no doubt but Americans (not counting United Statesians) are pretty safe.

Always keep in mind that as americans our tax money really works for us as far as National Defense systems. That question is hard to answer especially since our children aren't safe from myspace internet predators. If we can't secure our family inside our country,how can we protect it from invaders? Its a question you need to ask to our government.
