Some of the historical type verses in the old testament. IE Noah begat Ham etc. Also, the verses about the rules for the priests of Israel. Christ made the priests of old superfluos. Each person is now a priest and may offer prayers to God through Christ.

Other than that, one must remember that the old testament is a collection of rules for a primitive society. It breaks into three parts:
1) History of the Jews
2) Health code for a people who have no concept of germs
3) Rules for living together in an orderly society

1) This is all of the actions and lives of the old testament prophets and Kings of Israel etc.

2) Prime example is pork. We can eat pork because we can make it safe to consume, because we understand about parasites, and germs. But, at the time the old testament was written, they didn't know. I mean how were they supposed to know what internal temperature to cook pork to? It was much easier to say don't eat it at all. Other parts include quarantine measures and when they are appropriate. Things are a bit different now.

3) Look at the laws of how to deal with other people. To use Jesus's summary: Love thy neighbor as thyself. This is logical, as in you would not want your neighbor to steal your stuff, have an affair with your wife, lie about you in court, or most of all kill you, so you shouldn't do that either. Some of the rest dealing with slaves, apply in general to people for are doing work for you, but are not that relevant anymore as we do not have slaves.

Any that talk about burning in hell, because I am washed in the Blood of Jesus and I am on my way to Heaven: Are You? I hope so, if not read Romans 10:9-13, do what it says and you will be on your way to Heaven too. Amen

A lot don't really apply directly to me but are example to live by.

Like... I am not God, but He does live in my heart and He did create me and gave me breath. However, I would not say I was the Lord thy God...
And where it talks about Satan burning in Hell, and husbands love your wife... I think you can figure it out from here...

all of them. I think the bible is a novel that someone wrote for fun. And they believed it - only my opinion - i'm not intentionally insulting anyone.
