If there is a small military unit involved in jungle warfare, and a dozen or more of the enemy surrender, and the unit is advancing at great speed, what should they do with prisoners?

Under the Geneva convention strict laws are applicable to the treatment and captivity of POW's. However, fighting in Jungles or the desert as it stands to day with almost every conflict being against Muslim extremists or shades of their organization - serving soldiers have little or no choice other than to ensure their own lives and the preservation of it.

Fighting Muslims is far removed from any form of chivalry (for want of a better word) once they have been captured. For the most part their being captured due to having been stunned, knocked out or disabled and therefore unable to take their own life in-concert with killing or maiming others before being decisively shot by their captors. Muslims do not recognize or abide by any laws whatsoever that apply in western cultures under such umbrella's as the Geneva Convention. They automatically mutilate, torture, rape or perform other vile rituals before killing their prisoners. When did you last see a Muslim POW Camp? They don't exist. So, as a serving soldier you ensure your own protection and kill them. Conversely, in so doing you terminally ensure that such scum shall never again harm one other person.

I grow weary listening to the claptrap of dogooders etc who fervantly beleive the stringent laws of western society does and should apply to the insurgency scum of islam. Its two wholly separate entities and can never be entwined because Islam fobades it and indictrinates its masses to enforce it! Theres is always death and eternity with Moh'd. Who the **** in his right mind is going to let them survive and come back to do it again!

POWs are sent to the pre-designated holding area. Any unit will have a team of soldiers designated as the POW handling team, they will search the prisoners and move them to a designated location - then return to their unit. From there the prisoners will again be moved to the next staging area where they will remain (under guard) until they are turned over to the MPs and evacuated to an EPW holding facility.

Well the MP's (Military Police) are the ones who secure and bring in prisoners, so if the unit isn't MP they could just radio in a request to get an MP unit out there. And hold on to them until they arrive.

If I were unable to pass them of to others who could take them to the rear, I would force them out in front of our unit, yet between us and the attacking force. I would force them to lay down and use them as shields against their brothers. It is a gamble for them as far as survival, slightly better than just shooting them, so they don't become a further problem.
