peace be upon you dear brother ... welcome to Islam and may God bless you ...

After converting to Islam ... you need first how to live as a Muslim ... this website shows you almost everything about Muslim life:
http://www.islamworld.net/

But if you need a brief .. here you go:
==========================
1. pray 5 times daily
2. study Quran
3. Give Charity
4. Fast in Ramadan
5. Make pilgrimage to Makka if possible
6. Keep yourself chaste till you get marriage .. and don't have sex outside marriage

7.Don't drink Alcohol or eat pork meat or take any dope

About how to be a better Muslim:
========================
1. Live as a good Muslim first ... by living by the Quran and the prophet's instructions.

2. Try to be a good image for all Muslims ... and for Islam.

2. Try to defend Islam and prophet on the Internet as much as you can in GOOD reasonable words ... with evidences and proofs ...

3. Support your Muslim brothers in Palestine and Iraq and everywhere else on earth by giving charity to support them and defend them on the Internet and amongst your people with GOOD words and facts and evidences ...

4. Show people how much Islam is good and how much it's beautiful and is the true religion ... tell them what attracted you to Islam ...

Also you may refer to the websites i'm giving you below ..

And that is how you can be a Muslim and a good Muslim in brief...

I hope i could answer your question the best way i could ... may Allah bless you and guide you always to the best for you in life and in the afterlife ...

Study your faith. Live your faith. Don't argue about your faith with those that disagree. I'm not Muslim, neither am I Christian, nor am I a Jew. I have respect for all, and tolerance. I have however studied all three, and have a degree in theology. I say all that to say this ... You received what I consider a dangerous message pertaining to Daniel's prophecy and Islam from Victor ious. Don't get caught up in arguments like that. And when you're offered commentary like that, and his "answer" didn't even pertain to your question, it was just a well meant if unasked for attempt to evangelize (which thing is inappropriate here, that's NOT what this forum is all about) ... Either ignore it or take it with a BIG grain of salt. His "theology" and understanding of Daniel is, well, WAY off. And I'll leave it at that, lest I fall into the same trap he did. ~ Peace & Blessings ~

To be a good muslim at first you have to believe that there's just one god-Allah, who created the whole world, that he's the only one who is almighty and has all the power. You need to be friendly to all people, no matter which religion or nation they are. Islam is a peaceful religion, that's why its followers also have to be peaceful and kind. Anyway you should read Kur'an, Allah's word to the world. Then you will be more sure what to do.

I'm Muslim and my first impression is that; if u were saying the truth u would'nt be here. u would be reading the Holy Qura'an very thoroughly and seeking guidance from men of religion rather than random guys in their leisure over the internet
I believe that it takes alot to change religion. I hope u r saying the truth; further I hope this is not some mood swing.
if u really have it in u, u would always know your way through. May God give u all u wish for

I will not try to prevent you from being Muslim - however I think you need to be informed so you can make a complete intelligent decision.

The Prophet Daniel foresaw the religion of Islam and that it was evil. The Angel Gabriel showed Daniel a wicked temple that would sit on the Temple Mount, the former site of Solomon's Temple, in Jerusalem a few thousand years before Islam was created (Islam was formed around 600 AD).

FROM wicked temple comes "one who causes desolations" - the Antichrist - the very son of Satan who comes in the guise of the Muslims awaited Mahdi.

Read DANIEL 9:27

Be advised once a person accepts this man of perdition, this evil son of Satan (The Antichrist) who pretends to be the Muslim's Mahdi or Caliph - he will never be forgiven, not in this lifetime nor the age to come and will be destroyed along with the Antichrist and his false prophet who either pretends to be Jesus or will be the Pope who falsely claims to represent Jesus Christ. This false representative of Christ will try and get Christians to convert to Islam, damning many souls to the hell and the lake of fire for all eternity.

It will do not good to ask fellow Muslims about this as they do not believe it and refuse to believe that Islam is based on a lie and a mockery of God. They simply are blinded and cant see - Just as prophesied in the Bible.

Your hope - ALL mankind's hope is only to be found in Jesus.
Read ACTS 2:38

If after hearing this - and you still decide to be Muslim - then this is your decision and my conscience is clear and I have done my duty before God Almighty to warn you.

May the God of our Lord Jesus open your eyes and touch your heart and bring you to the absolute truth in the Messiah, Jesus.

Once you are commited to Islam - then you can be killed if you convert to a follower of Jesus. The Apostles found the truth of Jesus worth dying for - if it means salvation for others, laying their lives on the line for you and me to have the truth.

I am very glad to hear this. I am also a revert to Islam and my first years of trying to embrace Islam was really hard for me. I suggest for you to be around good muslims who can give you good information and guidance. Also try joining islamic circles in your area, there are usually debates , discussions and events that are held on Islam. Mostly pray for guidance from Allah and read the Quran as each time you read it, it will teach you something. A good website is islam-guide.com.

The Holy prophet Muhammad has said-
'Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good one and it will wipe it out, and behave well towards people' (An-Nawawi's 40 Hadith)

'Allah the Almighty has laid down religious duities, so do not neglect them: He has set boundaries, so do not overstep them: he has prohibited some things, so do not violate them: about some things He was silent out of compassion for you, not forgetfulness-so seek after them'.

If you want to be a better Muslim become a follower of Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of the only true and living God. Who by the way is not Allah. The Koran says that Allah has no son so therefore Allah can't be the same as the God of the Christian Bible. I would love to help you before you get to far gone into Islamism. Contact me if you want to chat about Jesus and His saving grace.

Hi, I'm happy to hear that your heart opened to Islam. May Allah bless you. I'm a Muslim and I feel that to be a better Muslim you have to be knowledgable about our purpose in life as Muslims. You can also read more Islamic books to deepen your faith.

God is merciful and forgive us where mistakes are inevitable. But it is also in our part that we should avoid mistakes as much as possible. I feel that you should allow some time for soul searching to clear your doubts. Assalamualaikum
