The true God will reveal himself to anyone who seeks him. Honestly, with all the effort of people trying to search for the real God in their limited resources and having so little of all the knowledge there is, perhaps we should ask a simple question...

Why don't we just ask the real God to show himself?

If someone seeks the true God, then just ask whoever is out there and expect an answer. Christianity is not a religion but a relationship, and once you have an encounter with the real God the argument is closed - no matter what debates there are, having a real relationship with God is the clincher.

I don't think it was meant to be that hard to find God, except to say that God finds us when we seek him and call out for him. Just desire to find God, pray and ask whoever is out there to reveal himself, and expect an answer.

As to the many denominations within Christianity, think of it this way. God has many children, and every child will think a little differently or see their father a little differently, being unique, yet they all have the same father because of the relationship. Denominations crop up for all kinds of silly reasons, and some over issues that may not have a definitive answer. But as long as the denomination believes in the same God, and the same Jesus, and have accepted the gift of salvation the way God said in the bible, then they are part of the family.

Another point - denominations are not ultimately a helpful thing to major on. Not that I'm saying denominations should simply erase their names, but i think they should put it right in the background, and not limit their direction and scope by putting a denomination's identity above anything God wants to do in the church. It causes division simply to categorise christians any further, so just put the denominational name away from the front of our conversations and mindsets and focus on the things that matter and are important such as saving the lost, loving everyone and loving God, helping the poor, the outcast, make a positive impact on the world.

cheers,

Ah, you have misunderstood what you read. A different denomination does not mean a different God. It means a difference of opinion on doctrinal issues on how God is worshipped and served. Ultimately, the basic beliefs about God, Jesus and the path to heaven are the same.

But you obviously don't care to hear that and are only looking to mock and ridicule that which you do not understand. I wish you enlightenment in your future.

The Church is where the heart is
The belief in the Creator is inside each and everyone
The Churches is where you can learn more about the Creator
If you do not feel that it not the right church for you leave it
Beside you need to learn about the bible and the teaching of the
Creator on your own the churches if you need to ask many of the teacher there to help not to follow but to follow to the Creator not to follow the churches they only there for you to ask question that about it

There are many gods, but there is only one true god, and his name is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18<--King James version, New World Translation). Unfortunately, his name has been taken out of many bibles. That is why it's so important for people to understand that knowing and using god's name is very important if you want to draw close to him.

There is one GOD indeed The GOD of Abraham, of Isaac, & of Jacob (Exod 3:6)
If some one is called Christian, is becouse he is disiple (follower) of JESUS CHRIST.

Atheism, the only logical choice.

You would think bible thumpers would get the message sooner or later, what with them having a direct pipeline to their God and all.

Haha! Well it's technically not 33,000 different Christian gods, I think we all worship the same one. What an interesting statistic though!
I didn't know that! ^___^
