I define soul as the second body, the non-physical part of a person. To me, the closest "proof" there is that this soul exists can be seen in near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences when a person's second body leaves the physical for some time. If you have experienced leaving your body and seeing your physical self from another location, you will most likely have the proof you need for the existence of a soul.

I am the Soul that lives in the human body. I am not my body. I know this from my own personal experience. You need to find your own way of proving this to yourself. Never wait for proof from another. It will never truly satisfy you. Do your own research. Take your own time to really find out what you are.

soul has been a factor of debate from centuries. some say that's an invention of mankind even as others believe in it.you already know, some issues in existence are precis like happiness, sorrow etc further soul/spirit. you won't be able to contact this stuff yet you could sense them. Now, shall we teach from Quran God and soul exist scientifically/logicaly- before each and every thing i thank athiests for not following issues blindly as our fore fathers did, secondly if God exist then soul might want to also exist- we would teach it scientifically from Quran. about fourteen hundred years in the past, people used to believe earth is traingular, flat etc no individual had any technologies to carry close what earth appeared like. even as Quran become printed, it rightly stated earth is round. the mild of the moon would nicely be its own or contemplated? The Quran rightly says its contemplated mild. the position from international orignated, this become on the minds of scientists of our age even untill they those days got here upon out how? The Quran rightly says about huge bang theory that too 1400 years in the past. The Quran speakes about countless issues that were not widespread to mankind, that's previous the intelligence of people of that age to communicate of such information, about huge bang theory that even we cutting-side people got here to carry close those days? So shall we imagine who may be the author of Quran printed 1400 years in the past, probably not any human of that era. that is in itself a clinical evidence of Quran being the Divine revelition, existance of God and soul.

No can do. But, somewhere inside of me is this piece that feels. It isn't my brain -- although sometimes that gets sore and cloudy. It isn't my heart -- although what I am feeling sometimes speeds it up and makes it race. It doesn't seem to have a specific place in my body -- although sometimes it makes me feel so full I will explode and sometimes it makes me feel so empty, so hollow. It is within me, and it surrounds me. It isn't supernatural. It's almost the most natural part of me. Yet, maybe I am the only one who carries this with me. I will really never know. But, I know that this piece of me [my soul?] exists.

A human says, "My body" not "I body". This refers to something other than the body. The soul is described a 1/10000th of the tip of a human hair. It is indestructible as opposed to the body.

Your soul is your subconscious. It takes care of you, repairs your body and will also manifest things in the physical world to help you along. It's your guardian angel and also your shadow, holding memories of your past.
People in the past had no clue of ego, subconscious, super subconscious and such. They explained it with what terms they had available then.

Why don't you prove that it doesn't, if you are so certain?
Conventional wisdom is that there is a soul. The burden of proving otherwise is on you.
