By this I mean have any of you ever been pronounced clinically dead but were revived? However, during the time of being "dead" you caught a glimpse of Heaven, got to stay awhile before being revived? What were your experiences, what was it like? If you used to fear death, do you fear it no longer due to this experience? If you are afraid people will read your answers and claim you are an idiotic liar, please feel free to email me your answers.

I am answering to provide a balance to the answers you'll receive from mean people. I have NOT had a near death experience, but I do believe many who say that they have. I read the book "Embraced by the Light" by Bettie Eadie and it changed my view of death. I also read Mary Baxter's "A Revelation of Heaven" about a vision she had. These books have increased my already strong faith. My sister had major surgery a few years ago and she said that she felt such peace and had a vision during her surgery. She could see a light and felt that my grandmother stood there with her mopping her brow and comforting her. I think that is sweet. I no longer fear death but totally trust Gods plan and His laws. Great question. ~Peace.

I never have died and seen heaven. I think I've seen something pretty close the day my daughter was born, though. I don't think I've ever blubbered like a baby before that day. Amazing what one little girl can do to a 6'1" 240 lb man. I suppose that if I were to die and go to heaven, I would relive that moment with the same feelings again.

when I die, i am going to stop to exist. in order that we are sparkling on that. Now, if i'm incorrect and also you're excellent and God exists and also you're taking position to believe in the right God and also you're taking position to believe in the astounding interpretation of your God and also you at the instant are not status excellent next to me also being banished to hell on your failure to be awesome humble and loving as Jesus advised his followers to be... then i'd be content fabric to bypass alongside with although God says. If God says I ought to get a glimpse of heaven beforehand going to hell, i'm high quality with that. If he sends me instantly to hell without seeing heaven, i'm high quality with that, too. See, if God fairly is in fee and decrees that i'm to be punished in hell for all eternity, then it really is fairly His call and what i choose would not count number number. yet I also comprehend Jesus says in the Bible that the astounding will be first and the first will be very last, so your assuming that you'll heaven and that i'll hell should be placing you up for a wide sadness. i'm merely sayin'.

If someone was revived, they weren't truly dead, were they?

All those "near death experiences" can be easily explained with the brain being deprived of oxygen.

There's a ton of people who have had near death experiences. There's websites and lots of books on it.

You can also reach 'heaven' in meditation by turning off your focus on the physical world.

I heared some one witnessing in the church meeting as he was dead for a day and come to life just on the moment he was going to be buried. I didn't believe it.
