This is for Owners of Guide Dogs. If you have a physical disability,and are not Blind, can you still be eligible for the Dog,????, in the State of FL.?????

there are other service dogs trained to work with folks with disabilities other than blindness. In most states they have the same privlages as guide dogs.

Yes- guide dogs are used for all types of physical disabilities and they are trained specifically to each one. Some are trained for the blind, the deaf, those in wheelchairs, etc. and the state you live in shouldn't say otherwise. Hope I was helpful!

There are a lot of services Service Dogs provide. You can get them if you have a general weakness, if you're Diabetic, have Epilepsy, Have MS, and a host of other conditions. Search that link that was given you. You'd be surprised. You can also contact your local Lions Club - they sponsor Service Dogs.

I'm not sure, but I do know they have dogs for the hearing impaired, which surprised the heck out of me!!! They'll let you know when someone is at the door, or if someone is on the phone, when you are outside, they'll let you know if a car is coming. I think that is pretty cool
