Get your facts straight!
The state of Israel was legally created out of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I. The area was desolate, desert and swamp, with some small towns and a few inhabitants, many of them nomads. The inhabitants considered themselves mostly Syrian. The Balfour Declaration issued by the British, who were given the mandate over the area by the League of Nations. Jews have lived in the country since Biblical times. The Arabs from the surrounding areas were lured to "Palestine" by the industry and prosperity that the Jews brought to the region. Envy, hatred and religious fanaticism turned the Arabs against the Jews. In 1947, under pressure, the British resigned their mandate. The same year, the United Nations mandated partioning of the territory. The Jews, though disappointed, accepted the partition. The Arabs rejected it and launched war against Israel. The armies of five Arab countries invaded. Following the exhortations of the invaders, the Arab residents got out of the way hoping to return after victory was attained. They could then reclaim their property and that of the Jews, all of whom would have been killed or would have fled. Israel won. That and that alone is the source of the Palastinian "refugees". Had the Arabs accepted the UN partition plan, there would now have been a state of "Palestine" for the last 58 years. The might have attained a similar level of prosperity, advancement and development as Israel. 50% of Israel's population now includes refugees from Morocco, Algeria, Iraq and Yemen. All were accepted by Israel with open arms and have become successful members of their society. The Palestinians refused to integrate these refugees into their population and instead confined them to "refugee camps". The ones there are now fourth generation and through no fault of Israel.

Killing thousands of Palestinians each year? Are you nuts! I don't know where you get those statistics but it sounds like more Muslim exaggerations.
Israel is defending its people and protecting its soldiers JUST AS ANY NATION SHOULD DO!
Sadly civilians get caught in the crossfire between Israel and Hamas and other terror groups. BUT if the Terror Groups would work with the system instead of trying to "wipe Israel off the map", civilians would not get accidentally maimed or killed.
In other words - its the terror groups that put their own people at risk over their own blind hatred and ambitions.
What few times the attacks seemed to stop - Israel stopped. The moment attacks and threats began - Israel reacted.
BUT IN NO WAY - Has Israel been slaughtering thousands of innocent Palestinians each year. If that had been the case, the UN, the US, AE and others would have stepped into the picture.
The only crime against Humanity is with the Muslim Extremists in the form of Hamas and other terrorist groups INCLUDING the Syrian and Iranian governments who aid these criminal thugs.
You have no idea what you are talking about.

wow you are really ignorant on this subject.
the fact is that their were over 1/2 million Jews living in Israel before the creaton of the state and that their has been a Jewish population in Israel for over 2,000 years.
Also the UN and the nations of the world granted the right for a Jewish state to exist. Then that day they were attacked by several Muslim nations and won. Its called the 1948 Independence war, read about it.
as for Judaism allowing the killing of everyone else that is not Jewish. If you honestly think that is in any way true then I feel sorry for you.

They have "turned the other cheek" (a Christian concept the Jews have practiced) for centuries, but this time they won't go quietly.
God allows us to take a life in order to save a life -- or go to war to save a nation of people.
If the Palestinians had accepted any one of the many peace proposals, they could have had a state of their own long ago, but what did they do when the Israelis disengaged from Gaza? They started a barrage of rockets instead of building a peaceful infrastructure.
Israel is held to a higher standard. They must provide for all the Palestinian needs even when the Palestinians are firing rockets at them and blowing up wedding ceremonies, shoppers, etc. Where are their Arab neighbors? Why doesn't Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria provide support for them?

If people are saying what Israel is doing if for defending the country, it is a fact, not PATHETIC, as you say. Why don't you say the killings of the INNOCENT PEOPLE all over the world, be in Kashmir, Israel, Iraq, 9/11.7/7, by the so called Jihad is, PATHETIC? Whether allowed or not in Judaism, or for that matter in any religion, every one fights for his survival and it is not WRONG.

God said thou shall not kill. I was part of a Jewish family for many years and they felt like Israel was stealing land from the Palistinians. I do know that history castes the people who take land this way as the bad side. Think of American Indians vs settlers, now that Europeans have all the power/land they feel very sorry for what their ancestors did to the natives.

You know we will never settle this if we don't go back to the beginning and figure out what happened. Israel has never attacked or killed anyone unless it was in response to an attack on them.
There are the chosen ones because God wants to show the world just how far He will go to save mankind. Be thankful He did not choose your people.

And heres a good sob story for you: I know a jewish guy that was adopted out of the program for kids that parents were killed by bombings in Israel. When he was 8 he wanted to go to some event and begged his parents to go, they said yes and would meet him there after school. He gets there and waits at the bus stop for a bus that never came. His parents and siblings all died in a bus bombing. One week after his 13th birthday his grandparents where shot in their front yard by Palestinians and he lost the last two members of his family.

because - like many different western democracies - israel believes in freedom of religion... there are regulations and regulations on the preaching, harrassment and target of jews for conversion although... and to be undemanding .. any christian that is going out onto any israeli highway which includes his bible and starts conversing about jesus is taking his existence in his own fingers any way jews and really israelis dont take kindly in any respect to conversion procedures of their personal lower back backyard.. human beings in israel are loose to have self belief what they pick yet israel continues to be a united states of america in conserving with judaism and ive considered israelis get more beneficial than somewhat indignant at the same time as confronted with conversion procedures :)
