As a member of the Dungle Astronomy Society I was intrigued by your question. I dashed out to my shed and measured my ladder and it was 16 foot extended. I then sat down with my abacus while Dorothy, my wife and keyboard expert, sat at the computer and found that the moon was an average of 240000 miles away. Gosh! That’s a long way.
So, 1 mile = 5 280 feet.
16 feet / 5280 = 330 ladders.
240000 x 330 = 79,200,000 ladders.
That’s a lot. I’m going to propose to the Society that it is perfectly feasible for all the ladders in the world should be collected and tied together so we could reach the moon.
Let me know what you think.

Obviously depends on the height of the ladder
The average stepladder is about 6 feet high
The moon is approximately 250,000 miles away.
There are 5280 feet in a mile,

therefore: 220 million ladders are required.

Have as many as you want - As the moon is that far away you will never have enough time in your life to get there.
So whats the point of even thinking of starting and
Why want to know such a useless piece of rubbish????
